Work of the Week 31st August 2018
We welcome all pupils back to the Infant School on Thursday 30th August at 9:05am. Senior Infants and First Classes line up at the top end of the yard.Teachers will meet their classes and bring pupils in to class.
Senior Infants and First Classes go home at 1:45pm.
All Junior Infant puils are asked to line up on their dedicated line number in the yard.Parents are asked to stand alongside their child to allow class teachers easily oversee their class group into their classroom.All Junior Infant pupils go home at 11:15am until Friday the 14th September.Please collect your child from the classroom door each morning.
Congratulations to our First class pupils who have graduated from the Infant School today. A big thanks to all teachers for preparing pupils so well and thanks also to all who helped decorate the hall for this special occasion.

Teddy Bears Picnic 2018
Thanks to Emilia and Brian from our Parents Association for making our Teddy Bears Picnic such a great success today.Pupils had such fun in the sun alongside their teddies as they atetheir lunches outside followed by fun and games.Oh and the teddies had great fun too!
Assembly of thanks for Cathy

A special assembly of thanks was held today for our secretary Cathy.Thanks to everyone who made this an Assembly to remember as Cathy retires from her role after 26 years.To teachers who prepared the children so well and helped them to create such wonderful cards and good wishes.The performances by the various classes were fantastic.Thanks also to SNA's who all helprd in their own way to make today the success it was.A special thank you to all who took the time to come along today and give Cathy memories to hold onto.To our caretaker John thanks for preparing the hall and to our HSCL teacher Debbie and school Completion co-ordinator Alison a huge thanks for preparing the Parents room and providing lots of tea and goodies.

Hurling Final 15th June 2018
Well done to all First Class pupils for their excellent display of hurling skills today.All pupils received medals for their fantastic performances.A big thanks to Paddy Baker from Good Counsel GAA club for all his hard work with the children over their last three years.
School Walk 2018
Well done to all pupils who participated in our school walk on Wednesday 13th June.Thanks to all families who supported this.
Children were on their best behaviour on the day.

Thank you to our wonderful Parents Association under the guidance of Emilia for co-ordinatung yet another wonderful Sports Day.Great fun was had by all as children enjoyed Art & craft,GAA,bouncy castle,high fly,dance,obstacle course,musical fun and story time.Thanks also to our hardworking teachers who supervised their classes throughout the day.The day could not have been possible without the assistance of many parent helpers.A big thanks also to teachers who directed some of the activities.The sun shone down and pupils went home tired but happy.Have a look!

Green School News
Congratulations to all pupils on our Green Team who worked so hard to achieve our seventh Green Flag on “Global Citizenship – Energy”
Pupils were very busy ensuring we are conserved energy where possible, keeping our work environments clean and everyone doing their part towards achieving a greener Environment. A huge thank you to teachers Ms Healy,Ms Walsh,Ms Barry and Ms Fallon who co-ordinated the entire programme. The award ceremony will took place today Tuesday, 22nd of May in The Helix,DCU Campus, Glasnevin.Ms Healy and Ms Walsh accompanied two pupils to collect our special award.A great day was had by all.

We have had some special visitors in our school. Lots of baby caterpillars arrived to the school and we got to watch them grow really big and make their chrysalis'. When we came back from our week off, they were butterflies! Today we released them with the and watched them fly away.
