We have been trying our best to use our Gaeilge all week for Seachtain na Gaeilge. Today, we wore our green clothes to school and performed the song "Lá le Pádraig" at our assembly.
We are learning about length with Ms Ivers. We had lots of fun making snakes with play dough. We measured our snakes with cubes to decide which ones were long, longer and longest.
We are having lots of fun learning about The Home with Ms Ivers. Have a look at what we are getting up to....
A litter bug was let loose on the corridor. Not to worry though, we were on hand to make sure our school remains a litter free zone!

Making Reindeer Food
"Sprinkle in the grass at night,
The moon will make it sparkle bright,
Santa's reindeer fly and roam,
This will guide them to your home."
Science Week Fun
This week is Science Week. We were experimenting with magnets. We guessed whether or not the objects would stick to the magnet first and then checked to see if we were right.
Halloween Dress Up Day
We had so much fun coming to school all dressed up for Halloween. Everybody put in such a big effort and the costumes were fantastic! 😀 We had a great day in school performing at assembly, making Halloween cards, dancing and pretending to be at the cinema!
Halloween Is Coming
We are busy getting ready for Halloween in Room 6. This week we made some wicked witches for the Halloween art competition.
We went on a shape hunt in our classroom for maths week. We found lots of different squares, triangles, rectangles and circles. Have a look at some of the shapes we found!
We had fun making perfect patterns!
Welcome to Room 6!
