Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope you are keeping well during this difficult time.

I am informing you all of the plan going forward in relation to a suggested programme of activities to cover with your child during the school closure.

Teachers will be uploading suggestions, activities and topics onto our school website on a weekly basis starting on Monday 30th March. There will be no updates during the Easter holidays. To access these updates, go to class pages and click on your child’s teacher.

All the staff in the Infant School want to remind parents/guardians that the work is optional. We do not want to create more stress in what is already a very stressful time. Work can be made up when we return to school. Children will learn new lifelong skills at home, including taking responsibility, problem solving, creating games, housework, baking and gardening. The priority now is for children to have a routine and to stay positive.

Children, I am missing seeing you all every day and looking forward to when we are told that we are allowed back to school. I know you are all being very good at home and helping your parents every day. Your teachers have been working very hard to plan some fun and interesting work for you all while you are at home that I know you will enjoy doing.

Stay well and safe,

Caoimhe Warren

Children you might enjoy watching this, it is children asking our Minsiter of Health, Simon Harris some questions about the COVID19.

Soccer Tournament

A big thank you to Mr. Murphy for organising a very successful soccer tournament for the boys and girls in first class.

Welcome back!

We are looking forward to a great school year in the Infant School.

We have been working so hard since we came back to school in September. Have a look at some of our lovely work.
